U.S. ARMY LOGISTICS SUPPORT TO OTHER SERVICES (ALSOS) PURPOSE: Identify, Quantify and Validate the Army CS/CSS ALSOS requirements for SWA and NEA theaters • Support DCSLOG’s Future Modeling Efforts • Support DCSLOG’s Synchronization of MTW’s Support Requirements SPONSOR: Director, Plans, Operations, and Logistics Automation Division, ODCSLOG, HQDA PERIOD: To be completed NLT 6 months following award of delivery order - 29 Jun 99 56

SCOPE AND APPROACH • Identify the Army Logistics Support to Other Services (ALSOS) CS/CSS materiel and service responsibilities in support of the two MTWs (SWA and NEA) • Establish a process and format for the collection of the logistics (CS/CSS) materiel and service requirements for all ALSOS responsibilities • Meet with CINCs/Components to work/coordinate the on-going ALSOS validation process and further ALSOS’s importance in supporting CINC’s OPLANs • Collect logistics materiel / service requirements and supporting documents to Quantify ALSOS requirements • Validate requirements against current OPLANs, DOD assigned responsibilities, inner-Service agreements, and historical data • Incorporate data into approved format for CAA • Provide observations, as appropriate, to the ALSOS requirements process 57
