Meredith is transitioning to an IB school, which introduces a different framework for student learning. The Design Cycle is fundamental in this system, incorporating stages such as investigate, plan, create, and evaluate. Unlike conventional grading systems, IB utilizes a 1 to 4 scale to assess student progress. This unique approach not only broadens research opportunities within the community but also elevates the school's reputation compared to non-IB institutions. Transitioning to IB ensures that students receive a robust educational experience with enhanced opportunities for skills development.

The Design Cycle Learning the design cycle
Without the I.B • The I.B. system is a lot different than what you’d think you will do more research for your community. The grading system is from a high of 4 and a low of 1.The I.B schools are basically praised and looked up to by non I.B schools the when you do the design cycle you have to do a design two different times and ways. If Meredith wasn’t an I.B school then we wouldn’t have as many opportunities as we do now with the new system
