  1. Pitch In! 5th Annual Washington Township Community-Wide Clean-up Day! The Washington Township Environmental Commission is calling for Volunteers to help clean up Washington Township, including open spaces, parks, streams/lakes, neighborhoods, schools and roadways. Each Volunteer receives a T-shirt! Trash bags and gloves are provided. Saturday, October 18th 9 am to 12 noon (Rain date October 25th) Individuals, Neighborhoods, Developments, Groups, Clubs and Businesses are encouraged to join us! Adults & Children are welcomed. (Participants under 18 must have their own adult chaperone) To volunteer, call 589-0520, x232 Or email wtec@twp.washington.nj.us After the clean-up there will be a picnic for the Volunteers at Washington Lake Park beginning at 12 noon. Awards will be given! Working Together Makes the Difference!
