Working Group ReportsCMWG • Nodal Assignment from TAC Requirement: Nodal Protocol Section 3.19 “Unless the Board approves changes, the “Competitive Constraints” are the contingency/limiting Transmission Element pairs that represent the Commercially Significant Constraints (CSCs) and Closely Related Elements (CREs), as those terms were defined in the ERCOT Protocols, immediately prior to Texas Nodal Market Implementation Date. The ERCOT Board may approve changes to the Competitive Constraints from time to time, whether before the Texas Nodal Market Implementation Date or after. An appropriate subcommittee approved by TAC (“TAC Subcommittee”) may develop an alternative list through the analysis described below for determining Competitive Constraints.”

Emergency Interruptible Load Task Force The EIL TF is charged to draft one or more PRRs/NPRRs to be presented at the December WMS meeting. The PRRs/NPRRs should provide ERCOT with a load interruption ancillary service to be deployed within 10 minutes of instruction as part of the EECP immediately prior to firm load shedding.
