  2. In Brief • Two Working Group Reports • One Task Force Report • Shadow Price Cap - procedures • PRR 743 and 764

Working Group ReportsQMWG • WGR Ramp Rate Limitations • 10% not fully analyzed but QSEWG felt 10% could be supported and implemented • More analysis requested to determine if 10% would provide adequate protection in high frequency events • PRR to be submitted, ROS will submit comments and economic impact analysis critical • 763 PRR - Use of WGRPP as Planned Operating Level in Day-Ahead Resource Plan for WGRs • Concerns expressed regarding communication issues with Wind Generators/QSEs – ERCOT to work with companies to get best contacts for 763 communications. • ERCOT asked to post the aggregate forecast

Working Group ReportsVCWG • VCTF – WMS voted unanimously to create the VCWG to address on-going verifiable cost issues • Process for pricing Discrete Emission Reduction Credit (DERC) for VC • Follow-up call set up to discuss - VCWG to follow up in July/August • Discussed exceptional events – all subject to dispute • Discussed PPA’s – VCWG will finalize Whitepaper and NPRR in July • NPRR for PPAs as Verifiable Cost Update – please submit comments • VCWG to work through outstanding issues • Nodal Surcharge • Timeline for Submitting Verifiable Costs by Resource Type • Training to begin shortly for VC

  5. Task Force ReportsCredit Policy • Draft NPRR to change default allocation reviewed and approved by WMS in concept – to be submitted for TPTF review by CPTF • Draft NPRR to modify adder for margining CRR Obligations – to be submitted for WMS/PRS review by CPTF

Other WMS activity • Zonal Shadow Price Cap • Procedures for setting based on Board action to be drafted by ERCOT in PRR for urgent status by early July • TCR Transition to CRR • Annual and Monthly TCR auction for 2009 • Refund annual TCR auction revenues per PRR 743 with implementation date modification • Refund of TCR monthly auction revenues - WMS support refunds in best manner achievable whether daily or hourly. ERCOT to analyze and report back to WMS in July. • PRR 764 – Implementation • CMWG reviewed
