  2. Piccadilly Cirus Piccadilly Cirus is a place which is famous forf its shops and lights ! There are lots of nightclubs near Piccadilly Circus where you can see a lot of British celebrities. In Piccadilly Circus, there is a fountain where tourists and Londoners can read books or hang-out with friends.

  3. Buckingham Palace Buckingham Palace is where the Queen and the King live. It was built between 1703 and 1826 ! It took more than hundred years to built it ! Buckingham Palace is situated in the City of Westminster (there are two cities in London : the City of London and the City of Westminster). There are a lot of rooms : rooms for art paintings, for Royal parties, for dinners with the Royal family members or ministers. In front of Buckingham Palace, there are guards to keep it safe. Tourists often make funny faces to them to make them laugh but they are not allowed to laugh !

  4. The London Eye The EDF Energy London Eyeis a giant Ferris Wheel on the embankmants of the Thames. It wasbuilt in 1998 and 1999, the wheelis 135 metreshigh and has a diameter of 120 metres. It costed £70 million (€81 millions), itwasinaugurated on December 31st, 1999 and has been opened to public on March 9th, 2000. The wheel has 32 cabins, eachcabin for each London district. Whenyou enter the cabin, youcansee all London : the Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the City, Covent Garden, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace…

  5. King’s Cross-St Pancras King’s Cross and St Pancras are two different stations. King’s Cross is a Tube Station and St Pancras is a railway station. They are located in the North of London, in Camden. St Pancras opened on October 1st, 1868 as a terminus for Midland and King’s Cross opened in 1863. The Eurostar arrives from Paris in St Pancras in only 2 hours and a half. 6 lines crosses King’s Cross : Circle line, Hammersmith & City line, Metropolitan line, Northern line, Piccadilly line and Victoria Line.

  6. Oxford Street Oxford Street is a very famous road in the city of Westminster (London). It’s the longest commercial road in the world, it’s 2,5km long ! There are 300 shops and restaurants and four Tube Stations.

  7. Westminster Abbey Westminster Abbey is located near Big Ben and the London Eye, in the heart of London. It’s a famous religious place in the World. This gothic church was built between 1042 and 1065 by King Edward the Confessor. This place is a royal necropole and a lot of Royal personalities ware crowned and married here. For example : the Queen Elizabeth ll has been crowned and married there, Prince Edward and Kate Middleton married there in 2011.

  8. Covent Garden is a market in London, it has a lot of restaurants like cupcake restaurants, smoothie bars, mexican restaurants and english restaurants
