  2. Characters • Squish is the main character and center of the story. • Pod is one of the main characters in the story. • Peggy is a supporting character and is in only about half of the book. • Lynwood is the school bully.

  4. Plot • Squish is an amoeba and loves to read comic books about super hero amoebas. He wants to be a courageous super hero. • One day he tries to help one of his friends and keep her from being eaten by the bully amoeba. He saves her and is a hero.

  5. Conflict • The conflict is between Lynwood and Squish. Lynwood tries to eat Squish’s friend Peggy.

  6. Solution • Squish stops Lynwood from eating Peggy and Peggy’s pet eats Lynwood!
