Criminals killed in Police Action… • Surender Malik @ Neetu Daboda carrying reward of Rs. 3 lakhs alongwith associates Alok Gupta and Deepak Gupta near Hotel Grand Vasant Kunj (Special Cell) 24.10.2013 • A gang of desperate criminals involved in several heinous cases of dacoity, robbery, murder, att. to murder, extortion and escape from police custody of Delhi, Haryana and Punjab • Involved in more than 25 cases • Car jacker Amit Dahiya while fleeing in robbed Ford Endeavour at Vill. Sannoth in Narela (Outer District) 21.07.2013 • He had car jacked a Ford Endeavour at gun point near Sachdeva School Sec-13, Rohini, one hour before the incident

Women’s Safety initiatives … • 800 Patrol Vans 24x7 with instructions to assist women returning late at night or if stranded • Motorcycle patrols, Emergency Response Vehicles deployed with focus on women security • Uploading of data of sexual offenders on website of Delhi Police i.e. www.delhipolice.nic.in • Deployment of police personnel around girls’ schools/colleges at the time of opening and closing • Identification of dark stretches

Safety of children • Names of Two Juvenile Welfare Officers (JWOs) uploaded on website per Police Station • Training imparted to JWOs • Use of ZIPNET and www.trackthemissingchild.gov.infor tracing of missing children • 198 rescue operations conducted • 956 children recovered • Special efforts by AHTU of districts and Crime Branch in solving cases of missing children • 132 cases registered under POCSO Act

E-challaning introduced • History of involvements of vehicle and driver in accident(s). • Have previous prosecution history of the vehicle and driver for the purposes of enhanced fines. • Know whether any traffic notice is pending in record against the vehicle/ driver. • Issue compounding challans, court challans and notices for all types of violations • Generate all types of reports and summaries required at the level of the officer issuing the challan, Traffic Circle level and Traffic HQ level for management and monitoring. • Know about the status of vehicle - whether it is stolen or involved in crime. • Generate and send SMS to the supervisory officer about the day’s work of prosecuting officers/circle for administrative management by senior officials.
