  39. Highlights There will be a bond referendum, comprised of 2 propositions, put before voters in the Eastchester School District on March 19, 2008. The plans for the renovation and construction project at the High School and Middle School include the following:

Proposition 1 ($19,600,000) • At Eastchester High School (largely using the existing building footprint where the cafeteria is currently located): • 7 NEW general education classrooms • 4 NEW small group instruction classrooms • 4 NEW science (lab) rooms • 1 NEW art classroom • 1 NEW physical education/fitness station • 4 NEW toilet rooms • 3 RENOVATED art classrooms • 2 RENOVATED small group instruction classrooms • Renovated cafeteria (relocated) with a commons and multi-purpose room and drop-in study center

  41. Proposition 1 ($19,600,000) At Eastchester Middle School: • 4 NEW general education classrooms • 1 NEW technology classroom • 1 NEW science/lab • 1 NEW elevator

  42. Proposition 2 ($1,285,000) At Eastchester Middle School: • 2 NEW instructional music/multipurpose rooms • Renovation/expansion of cafeteria
