Modernising the DMU telephone systems

The DMU telephone modernization project aims to improve internal communication through the deployment of Microsoft Lync 2010, integrating SIP phone capabilities, and Exchange 2010 for voicemail services. The initiative will provide an interactive work environment, allowing staff to easily connect using familiar tools, including instant messaging and presence indicators. Training will be available online to ensure minimal disruption and maximum effectiveness. The project, impacting 2,500 staff, is designed to reduce costs, enhance accessibility, and promote a greener footprint through reduced travel.
