Community Tissue Services? • Explain the process of deceased organ donation. • Explain the importance of eye and tissue donation. • Explain why awareness of living kidney donation options is important. • Explain why it’s important to talk to your family about donation.

  6. Getting started as an educator • Starting in September 2014, DLNW must receive evidence that you have passed a background check. www.donatelifenw.org/content/donate-life-educators

  7. How it works • Schools email or call Donate Life Northwest to request a presentation. We’ll sort out the details! • Staff emails our Volunteer Educators. RSVP! • Staff confirms and mailsyou a box of supplies. • Presentation Day! • Collect and mail back student feedback forms.
