  2. BIOGRAPHY • His name is Jovan Cvijić. • He was born in Loznica on the 11 Octobar 1865. • He died on the 16 January 1927. • He lived for 61 year. • He was buried in New Cemetry in Belgrade.

  3. FAMILY • He had a wife Ljubica Cvijić. • His parents were Todor Cvijić and Marija Cvijić. • He had three sisters and one brother. • He did not have children.

HIS WORKS FOR THE WORLD • Studied the Balkan Peninsula. • His books described geography of the Balkan . • His the most know books are: • To the knowledge of karst of estern Serbia,written on 1889. • Overhead cave,writte on 1891. • Geographic testing of the are Kučaja, written on 1893. • Karst,geographical monograph,written on 1895. • He founded the Serbian Geographical Society. • He is founder of Serbian Geography.
