  2. We left off last week with the 1st of the 7-fold prayer:That they might be filled with His will.We looked at 7 aspects of understanding the will of God.

  3. 2. That we might be filled with His wisdom

  4. Col 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

  5. …To understand this wisdom, we must pay attention to Ephesians 1:18-23 …

  6. Eph 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

  7. The “Hope of his calling”…is to glorify the Lord Jesus as sons of God…

  8. The “Riches of the glory of his inheritance IN THE SAINTS” …the multiplication of the seed given us…

  9. Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-wardwho believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

  10. Which is:His investment into usJohn 12:24-25

  11. Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

  12. …From where does this power originate?

  13. … “Wrought in Christ when God raised him from the dead!”

  14. … “Set him at His own right hand!”This is the position of power and righteous judgment

  15. …this gives Jesus a place that is …

  16. … Far above anything or any name – “In the heavenly places!”

  17. Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

  18. Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

  19. Eph 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

  20. You may ask, “How is this kind of wisdom possible?How can a human posses this ability?

  21. Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

  22. Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seekethfindeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

  23. In Closing … God wants us to know I John 4:4 is available to us who believe and ask according to His will!!

  24. 1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

  25. His WISDOM gives us that ABILITY!!!
