The Titanic was the biggest boat in the world at the time. It sailed from England in 1912 and it was going to New York harbor. But most of the people and the Titanic didn’t get to go to New York because the ship sank when it hit an iceberg. Everybody on the boat except for one person thought that the Titanic was unsinkable. That person was the person who designed the ship. After they hit the iceberg, he knew that they were going to sink. He told everyone to get into the lifeboats and get life-jackets but there weren’t enough, so some people died.
