  3. What Does SWANA Do? • Guided by a Strategic Management Plan (SMP) and Program Plan, each approved by the International Board (IB) The foundation of most of SWANA’s services and activities SWANA

What Does SWANA Do? • Five Goals Advance the Mission of the Association (Advocacy) Training, Education and Information (Technical Assistance, Technical Divisions, Training and Certification) Research, Development and Demonstration (Grants, Applied Research Foundation) Unity in Management and Operations (IB, EC, Chapters, Members) Generate Revenue to Support the Mission (Business Development) SWANA
