  2. Introduction • Sir Francis Drake was born in 1540 in Devon England. Queen Elizabeth funded the exploration and sent him to get land for them to own. • He spent 3 years on the exploration and the goal was to make it to San Francisco and not make the French mad.

  3. Exploration • Drake wanted to sail the Pacific and claim San Francisco for the queen and he did. • Drake was unreasonable to the Native Americans because he took there home. • It Helped the worlds Knowledge because It helped us find the rest of America.

Conclusion And Reflection • I learned that life is short and hard but you can do anything you want to. • And everything is fun if you want it to be. • Also that you should not give up if something is a challenge. • I thought he was interesting because he dedicated half of his life to the queen and he did her well. • Drake was so special to everyone that they even named a bay after him called Drakes Bay 30 miles from San Francisco. • Drake became honored because everyone thought that the queen owned the land . He also said to a crew member that he was going to bed and the next day they found him dead.

  6. Extra Information • Drake was in an exploration when he got a note that his wife was dead. So he remarried the wealthiest person in England. I thought it was odd that he remarried someone. • Discoverplymoth.net
