PMI’s Temporary Shelter Assistance through Community Empowerment

PMI's Temporary Shelter Assistance through Community Empowerment aims to provide direct early recovery support to households affected by earthquakes. The objective is to help them build their own temporary shelters using timber/coconut/bamboo frames and traditional materials before the rainy season. This program prioritizes the most vulnerable individuals in the community and promotes mutual assistance and community bonding. The positive impacts include faster recovery, improved living conditions, and increased sense of security.
