  4. A man worked with his grandson. He taught his grandson how to take care of plants. His grandson learned to trim branches with garden tools.

  5. Where were the man and boy? Who was the man? What was on the boy’s head? Why were they trimming branches? Draw a cluster to show what happened.

  6. A lady decorated and sold backpacks. Her daughter and granddaughter wanted to learn how to make them. They talked and talked about what they should do.

  7. Who was decorating backpacks? Where were they working? How did the daughter and granddaughter know what to do? Use a cluster to record information.

  8. A man learned how to play the drums from his grandparents. He honors them by playing some of the same songs they played. His son was happy to learn the songs. People were listening to their music.

  9. Who were the man’s music teachers? Why was the boy happy? How was the man honoring his grandparents? Record your thoughts in a cluster.

  10. This lady loves to read. She was reading when her granddaughter came to visit. She began reading to her granddaughter.

  11. What was this lady doing? Where was she? What was the girl looking at? Make a cluster for your ideas.

  12. Look at page 157 in your High Point book. Think about these questions. • Where were the man and boy? • Who was the man? • How did the boy feel as he watched the man? Then tell what happened in the painting.
