  1. Slave Narratives I was Kidnapped! By Maribel Maravilla American Literature September 28, 2008 Stop Slavery

  2. Slavery Slave Narratives As time passed, Douglass and Olaudah realized slavery had to be a thing of the past. Frederick became an abolitionist and influenced others. He joined various organizations in New Bradford, he was also asked to speak, but didn’t have a speech ready, that didn’t stop him a bit.Even though Frederick Douglass didn’t have a speech ready and still gave a fascinating speech, he demonstrated to the other slaves that slavery was something to abolish. ThoughOlaudah didn’t have an opportunity to stop slavery, he prayed. When the time came for Olaudah to go with his buyer, he became relieved after hearing he would not be eaten.During this time, I suggest Olaudah showed a sign of relief since he saw other slaves being taken away alive. These reactions make us see how slaves got influenced to continue living a life of slavery and expecting for someday to became free.
