This week, we dive into geometry with rhombus, trapezoid, triangle, and square pattern blocks. We will explore relationships between these shapes and create larger forms using smaller ones. Join us for STEM Night on March 19th from 6:00-8:00 PM for a fun-filled evening of science and math at Holmes! Mr. Groves will visit on March 18th to share his career in mathematics and lead a hands-on activity. We'll also read nonfiction about the sun and shadows, focusing on asking questions and understanding new words through context clues.
