Three main things you will profit from today! • You can profit from your prospecting time • You can profit from the information you have probably gathered over the years about branding yourself, providing added value, and becoming your clients only trusted advisor • You can be profiting more from your existing clients-they will beg you to take over their portfolio’s

  3. If it sounds to good to be true it isn’t ! • It is all True ! And It is all possible!

A few more things to note • If you add in the age factor, for the past 17 years women and men heading for divorce have been getting older. • In 2002 the average age for a divorcing women was 40.5 and for men 43.1 • The proportion of marriages expected to end in divorce by the 30th wedding anniversary was 37.9% in 2002

There is a tax issue! • The full amount of the marginal tax rate has been applied to the full amount of the asset. • Capital Gains is only paid on 50% of the gain at the marginal tax rate • We do not know the ACB so how can we know the gain? • Do you see how much money would have been lost if I did not draw this to the lawyers attention?

  15. Do you think this client will trust you forever knowing you have just secured her thousands of dollars that would have been otherwise lost to her? Do you think that she will ask you to be the custodian of her nest egg- a nest egg that you helped her to gather?????? Do you think this client is going to leave these assets with her estranged husband?

  16. As a CDFA you can help to negate the hostility and contamination that is prevalent in the adversarial system If you are interested in the Divorce Planning practice the first thing you have to do is set your goals!
