RLV Working Group: Insights on Training Standards Development and Industry Practices
The RLV Working Group recently published a study via COMSTAC highlighting key findings on training standards development. A survey of crew roles and responsibilities showed limited commonality among industry practices, suggesting challenges for establishing unified standards. Consequently, further training standards development will be paused. The session included a discussion on Augustine results and a report from the FAA regarding their IAF involvement. The next meeting will focus on how the COMSTAC RLV Working Group can collaborate with other organizations to facilitate practical industry standards.
