1. How to measure your SEO campaign’s success Search engine optimization is the need of the hour if you want more leads and more conversions for your business. In the era of digitalization, you cannot survive without an effective, highly-functional and superior SEO strategy that can bring results for you. However, just hiring a Digital Media Agency, making an SEO plan and executing it is not enough. You also need to ensure that you measure the success, or we can say progress, of your SEO campaign regularly to ensure that it is going in the right direction. Measuring success might also help you to amend your strategy accordingly. Do you want to know how your SEO campaign is running and how effective it is? Though an SEO campaign might take time to show results, if you are not getting anything in return, you need to improve your SEO campaign. In this post, we will discuss some of the indicators of measuring your SEO campaign. Check Your Keyword Rankings There are certain keywords that you have found trending for your industry. You have targeted those keywords in your SEO campaign. Once your SEO campaign is live and working, you will see your website pages ranking for those particular keywords. It will sooner show up in search engine result pages. It offers your brand more visibility and more traffic. Your website must rank on the first page of the search engine for targeted keywords as it is the crucial thing to get more traffic on your website. For that, you need to check out your targeted keyword rankings from time to time. If you find that your keyword rankings are declining over some time, it will surely affect your traffic and conversions. Though it is not the only parameter that points out some issues with your campaign, it is showing that something is not right. You can combine your keyword

Check Your Conversion Rate What is the use of high traffic on your website if it fails to convert into sales? Yes, just getting more visibility is a good thing, but it is of no use if you don’t get enough conversions. Conversions will tell you about the number of visitors who have completed your call to action such as filling up forms, clicking on links or purchasing your offerings. If the conversion rate is higher, it means your conversion rate optimization (CRO) is working well. You can take the help of Google Analytics to check out your website's conversion rate. If the conversion rate is not as you expected, you might need to check out some parameters such as the website's SEO-friendliness and others. Check Your Backlinks Having a good number of high-authority backlinks can win a fortune for your business. A backlink is a link that a high-authority website offers to your website and it can be earned by guest posting, blog commenting and other ways. High-authority, relevant backlinks might help you to get more traffic on your website from genuine users. A large number of high-authority backlinks might help you to get more visibility and an edge over your competitors. It will also build up your credibility and authority among an industry community and your voice will be heard by relevant users. You need to ensure that you get high-authority backlinks for your website consistently. Check Your Spam Score Having good domain authority is a great thing to get an authoritative voice online. It will also boost your digital presence. However, a spam score might affect your website rankings and

3. domain authority drastically. If you have more low-authority inbound links from other websites or you link with websites with high spam scores, it will affect your brand credibility and your campaign badly. Also, you will be ruining your backlink portfolio as well. In some cases, Google might penalize your website too. If you find your website’s spam score high, you need to lower down by eliminating all the bad inbound links immediately. Check Your Traffic Quality Just getting good traffic on your website is not good enough, you need to dig deeper to find out the relevancy and quality of your traffic. Irrelevant leads will not serve the purpose at all. Check out your website's bounce rate, the number of time visitors spending on your webpages and the number of pages per visit to check out traffic quality. Good website traffic with a high bounce rate is also a problem that you need to address. If the number of pages your visitors are visiting is low, it also states that traffic quality is not good. The reason might be the selection of keywords or other SEO practices. It also means that your SEO campaign is confusing users. You need to work on these issues to improve your traffic quality. Conclusion These are some of the parameters that you need to check out to measure the success of your SEO campaign. Constantly dig into these parameters and amend your SEO strategy accordingly to bring the best outcomes for your website. Check out what is working and what is not for your campaign and stay updated on new Google algorithm updates and other SEO trends to make required amendments to your SEO strategy. Hire a good and experienced digital marketing agency that possesses sheer expertise in managing and implementing SEO practices and has a proven track record.
