  2. Ancient Rome • Romans have appeared on the territory of The Apennine Peninsula,near the city of Rome. Ancient Rome is one of the most powerful ancient civilizations called from its capital – Rome. Ancient Rome created the cultural ground for European civilization

  4. The Roman Colosseum • The Roman Colosseum is amphitheatre, a monument of architecture of Ancient Rome, the most famous and one of the most ambitious constructions of the ancient world that has survived to our time. • The construction of the largest amphitheatre was conducted for eight years

However, in the religious practices of the Romans played an important role as animistic superstition associated with the worship of spirits: geniuses, Penates, Lares, lemurs and manes.
