  3. Who is Bono? • His name is Paul David Hewson • He is the lead singer of the Irish rock band U2.

  4. Childhood • Born in Ballymun, Dublin on May 10th 1960 • He had a catholic father and protestant mother • Norman Hewson only brother • His mother die in 1974 when he was 14 years old

  5. Education • He attended religious schools • He got kicked out and went to Mount Temple Comprehensive School • He was good in history and art

  6. Why do we call him Bono instead of Paul • His entire nickname is Bono Vox • He got his nickname in middle school • His nickname means good voice

  8. Bono’s present life • He married Alison Stewart in 1982 • 4 children , 2 daughters and 2 sons • daughters :Jordan (born May 1989) Memphis Eve (born July 1991) • sons Elijah Patricius (born August 1999) and John Abraham (born May 2001) • On August 21 on 2001 he lost his father from cancer.
