Future Elementary Educator Passionate About Technology and Teaching in Wisconsin

Erica Roberts is a senior at UWO majoring in Elementary Education (PK-6) with a minor in Social Science. She is comfortable with technology, thanks to her in-laws' printing business, but is eager to enhance her skills further this semester. Erica's dream job is to teach 3rd or 4th grade in a small town in western Wisconsin. As a non-traditional student, she graduated from New London High School in 2000 and has been married for over 7 years, raising two young boys. She aims to graduate in 2012 and make a positive impact in education.

  1. Erica Roberts • Major/Minor: • Elementary Education PK-6/ Social Science • Technology Fluency: • I am fairly comfortable with using technology. My in-laws own a printing and copying business so I have learned a lot about computer set up from them. There is still a lot about technology that I am unsure or or uncomfortable with that hopefully I will learn about this semester. • Dream Job: • My dream job is to teach 3rd or 4th grade in a small town in western Wisconsin. • Unique: • I am a non-traditional student. I graduated from New London High School in 2000. I have been married to my husband Phil for 7 ½ years. We have two boys Isaac 3 ¾ years and Andrew who is 2 years old. Currently I am a senior at UWO and hope to graduate in 2012.
