Join Suzy, Olivia, and Justine as they uncover the science behind common school phenomena. From the ringing of a bell that uses gravity to send sound waves, to the grass and plants performing photosynthesis for growth, learn how nature and physics intertwine. Discover how shadows are cast by trees, how slides utilize gravity to pull you down, and how the structure of the hall ensures stability. Explore how the sun nurtures life and how the drinking fountain operates through a system of pipes. Science is present everywhere!

Where is the science? By Suzy, Olivia and Justine
The Bell… The bell uses gravity as it hangs from the pole. It sends sound waves across the school when it is rung.
The Grass The grass performs photosynthesis to grow.
The Shadow The sun hits the trees and casts a shadow on the opposite side of the tree.
The Slide The slide uses gravity by pulling whoever's on the slide downwards.
The Hall The structure of the hall needs to be made so that the hall stands upright.
The Sun The sun provides warmth and light to help living things grow.
The Plants The plants perform photosynthesis to grow.
The Log Bridge The log bridge hangs from the bars with gravity and sways with momentum when stood on.
The Drinking Fountain The drinking fountain squirts out water when the button is pressed. The water comes out of the fountain through a series of pipes.
