Invite - Enter the e-mail addresses and click on the Send Invite button. Or send invite via SMART Scheduler Outllook Add-in in advance. Scheduling – SMART Scheduler allows the SMART Bridgit server to integrate with Microsoft Exchange Server & Outlook Clients to enable the ability to pre-schedule and book recurring meetings on the Bridgit server with randomly generated or host defined passwords B A Multi-location Networking- Bridgit Global Server Network(GSN) provides a new method of delivering increased scaleability (replaces current clustering architecture), WAN bandwidth optimization and improved supportability for a multi-site Bridgit server deployment C Multiple Display Sharing – Provides the ability for the host/presenter to share multiple displays to local and remote participants Extended WebCam Support – Enables SMART Bridgit to support increased number of desktop view devices via new video driver support

SMART Scheduler: Overview SMART Scheduler introduces the ability to book or reserve future meetings on the Bridgit server via integration with Microsoft Exchange and an Outlook Add-in SMART Scheduler Server Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 SMART Bridgit Client w/ MS Outlook Add-in SMART Bridgit Server An additional SMART Server Application & Outlook Add-in work intelligently together to schedule and activate meetings on the SMART Bridgit Server

SMART Scheduler: Server-Side SMART Scheduleris a stand-alone service or server application that logs on to and monitors a specified Bridgitmeetings Microsoft Exchange server ( 2003/2007) account and communicates with the SMART Bridgit master server to initiate scheduled meetings SMART Scheduler Server plays two unique roles; 1) as a Client to the Exchange Server 2) as a Exchange Representative for the Bridgit Server • SMART Scheduler Server  • Holds all the scheduling information provided by the Exchange Server • Can book on multiple SMART Bridgit Servers (if admin rights are granted) • Initiates the meeting on the Bridgit Server ( 15 mins prior to start time) • Communicates the credentials and parameters of the meeting • Efficiently preserves and manages the Bridgit user meeting IDs

  8. SMART Scheduler: Client-side • In order to leverage the SMART Scheduler functionality users must install the SMART Scheduler Outlook Add-in onto their machine (PC) . This could be accomplished remotely. • When the meeting is scheduled successfully, a url/link to the meeting on the Bridgit Server and instructions on how to join are provided in the Microsoft Outlook meeting invite mail. • Meetings are set up on the Bridgit server 15 mins prior to start time • SMART Bridgit Outlook add-in requires two configuration parameters • SMART Bridgit Server (domain name) • SMART Scheduling Mailbox on the Microsoft Exchange Server • Once installed - User checks SMART Scheduler in Outlook Meeting Request to automatically schedule a SMART Bridgit Meeting for this invite http://invitationtosmartbridgitmeeting.com/=12345

  10. Global Server Network (GSN): Overview B A C SMART Bridgit Global Server Network (GSN) enables a truly scaleable and optimized enterprise-wide deployment of SMART Bridgit Server Software. Bridgit GSN is an intelligent network of SMART Bridgit Servers that connect multiple locations. 1) Increased WAN Optimization - via reduced display sharing bandwidth b/w locations 2) Enhanced Scale-ability - replaces clustering w/ multi-site Peer-2-Peer networking 3) Improved Manageability - Shared meeting table - Shared User licensing - Enhanced resiliency (VMWARE & Multi-site)

  11. SMART Bridgit GSN: How it works! B A C Meetings in an enterprise often include multiple participants in multiple locations. SMART Bridgit GSN improves bandwidth utilization by ensuring participants are connected to the fastest server and reducing the data streams, round trip delays between locations. Instead of Clustering(deploying multiple servers in one location) to scale, Bridgit Servers can be deployed in multi-sites and register into a single GSN Domain simplifying user connectivity and leveraging available WAN bandwidth more efficiently and effectively.
