This document outlines the current status of NDGF SAM tests conducted under OPS.VO credentials as of October 23, 2007. It includes various tests running on Computing Elements (ArcCE), Storage Elements (SE/SRM), and Site BDII (sBDII), with a focus on critical tests chosen by NDGF. Key functionalities tested include job submission, input file handling, and version checks for gcc, perl, and python. The availability calculations for the tests follow the same algorithm as used across all EGEE/WLCG sites, ensuring a consistent assessment of service health.

NDGF SAM Tests Status • David Collados • LCG Management Board • CERN, 23 October 2007
Current NDGF SAM tests • Computing Element (ArcCE): - All these tests run under OPS VO credentials • ARCCE-job-submit - submits a testjob to the cluster. • ARCCE-gridftp - submits a testjob with a gridftp input file to the cluster. • ARCCE-rls - submits a testjob with a RLS input file to the cluster. • ARCCE-csh - runs a csh script. • ARCCE-gcc - determines the default gcc version on the cluster. • ARCCE-perl - determines the default perl version on the cluster. • ARCCE-python - determines the default python version on the cluster. • Critical tests (underlined) were chosen by NDGF • Storage Element (SE/SRM): • exactly the same tests as for all the EGEE/WLCG sites (OPS VO) • Site BDII (sBDII): • exactly the same tests as for all the EGEE/WLCG sites (OPS VO)
Availability calculation (1) • Exactly the same algorithm as for all the EGEE/WLCG sites • Critical tests are a bit different
