  3. -- binaries, or semantic rectangles, • -- roles/actant and functions, or narrateme, • -- story and discourse, • -- narrator- narratee, • -- metaphor and metonymy, • -- grammatical parts of speech, or lexemes, • -- signs or signification on different levels (signifier and signified).
