This April, students will embark on a series of creative writing assignments designed to enhance their writing skills using precise language, descriptive details, and sensory experiences. Key activities include silent reading, story responses through letters and comic panels, and drafting essays. Vocabulary lessons will introduce new words with definitions, sentences, synonyms, and antonyms. Students are encouraged to explore their novels creatively with maps and plan for their future reading selections. Emphasis will be placed on completing rough drafts and notebook checks to support their learning targets.
