  4. Partner Share The archeologist carefully removed the tome from its resting place and began to read the pages related to marriage in ancient Greece. What does the word tome probably mean? • Pen b. weapon c. book d. sausage What context clues did you use you determine the meaning of the words?

Idioms- a phrase or groups of words- has a special meaning that is different from what it appears to mean Example: Lately it has been raining cats and dogs. “raining cats and dogs” means that it is raining hard When we determine the meaning of Idioms we use • Context clues • Common sense: could this really happen? Lets CFU!
