Quick Start Energy Grants $12.2 million awarded to 99 school districts for energy efficiency projects $2.7 million awarded to 143 applicants for energy audits All work completed on or before September 30, 2009 Missoula - school lighting project
School Distribution Grants Deferred maintenance and energy efficiency $20 million distributed by “Quality Educator Formula” $18.1 million (91%) has been distributed to 424 school districts Work must be completed on or before September 30, 2010 Dillon - school energy efficient boiler
Quality Schools Facility Grants Kelly Casillas: 841-2776 Ulm School • $12 million for 2011 biennium • $900,000 for planning grants – 46 grants awarded • $100,000 for emergency grants – 2 grants awarded • ~$11 million for projects grants – 33 grants awarded • Funding comes from • timber harvest on school trust lands, • mineral royalties, and • rental income from power site leases. • 2nd round apps due June 18th
