EVALUATION Summary findings from a recent survey of 1,098 MDMW users: • 89.6% felt it helped them make better use of their consultation • 88.2% felt it helped them manage their diabetes better • 90.3% felt it improved their diabetes knowledge • 89.3% felt it improved their motivation. Feedback from Users via the MDMW site and Social Media includes: • “The knowledge provided helps me understand the normal parameters and where I stand/can improve…” • “ more information available to me means I can play a more positive role in my treatment…” • “ Great site and like having the long term history available to put current results in perspective…” • “It is great to be able to view all of my results so that I can be more in charge of my diabetes…” • MDMW use associated with significant improvements in: • HbA1c (p < 0.001), body mass index (p=0.022), total cholesterol (p=0.002), HDL cholesterol (p=0.012), LDL cholesterol (p=0.001), diastolic blood pressure (p=0.007) and weight (p=0.003) amongst active users (unpublished data)
