The April 2011 leadership sessions, "Presumed Competence: Continuing the Conversation," led by Linda Wise, aimed to deepen our understanding of presumed competence for all learners. Participants engaged in examining their beliefs and values regarding educational equity, connecting this framework with Howard County Public School System's systemic expectations. By enhancing relationships among colleagues and learning from diverse perspectives, educators explored strategies to ensure students receive exemplary instruction, tailored support, and continuous progress monitoring, all essential for preparing them for college and careers.
