  4. Pig Personality Profile On a blank piece of 8½ x 11 paper, draw a pig Don't look at your neighbors' pigs Don't even glance Time’s Up! You have 3 minutes…. You have 2 minutes…. You have 1 minute…. You have 10 seconds….

  5. Pig Personality Profile If the pig is drawn . . . Toward the top of the paper, you are a positive, optimistic person. Toward the middle of the paper, you are a realist. Toward the bottom of the paper, you are a pessimist and have a tendency to be negative. Facing left, you are traditional, friendly, and good at remembering dates, including birthdays. Facing forward (or angled forward), you are direct, enjoy playing "the devil's advocate,“ and neither fear nor avoid discussions. Facing right, you are innovative and active but do not have a strong sense of family, and you are not good at remembering dates. With many details, you are analytical, cautious, and distrustful. With few details, you are emotional and naive, care little for details, and are a risk-taker. With four legs showing, you are secure and stubborn, and you stick to your ideals. With less than four legs, you are insecure or are going through a period of major change. With large ears, you are a good listener. The larger the ears, the better listener you are. And, last but not least…the longer the pig’s tail you have drawn, the more satisfied you are with the quality of romance in your life!

Useful Definitions Technology « An organized body of scientific and technical knowledge and skills used to design, produce, maintain and repair objects that facilitate human existence. » (CDP) « Technology is human innovation in action. It draws on knowledge and processes to develop systems that solve problems and extend human capabilities. » (Technology for All Americans Project, USA, p. 16) « Technology is the practical approach that has enabled the human species to surmount its animal existence through its ability to act and create its own habitats, food resources, conditions for comfort and the means to safeguard health, get around and communicate. » And « Technology is an orderly process whereby various materials, energy and natural phenomena are used for human purposes. » (Black, Harrison/COPRET Report, France, p. 93 and 94). « Technology is the field of knowledge and activities that involves designing and creating objects and systems. » (Dictionnaire de l’Éducation, Legendre, Québec, p.1335)
