  1. MCPL Summer Reading 2014 June 1st to August 9th Ages 0 - 12

  2. Welcome • Theme is “FIZZ BOOM READ!” • Children can sign-up June 1st until August 9th. • Children birth to grade six can sign-up for this program. • There is a teen program for middle school, and a preschool program for younger kids.

  3. Logging the Information • Signup is available online through MCPL’s website. • All children who sign up will receive a voucher for a Frederick Key’s Game. • After reading 4 books children will be able to print an online certificate and receive a lunch bag. (Available beginning June 30th, and while supplies last).

  4. Online Sign-up • Children may signup online, in the branch, at home or in school • Student volunteers will sometimes be at the library to help children with signup

Agricultural Fair • June 26, 2:00 pm - Japan in a Suitcase • July 14, 4:30-5:30 pm - Hedgehog Tales • July 19, 11:00 am – Author visit – Kathleen Davis • July 19, 2:00 pm: Dragons @ Dreams • July 26, 11:00 am: Simple Gifts- Music • July 31, 11:00 am - Paul Merklein
