  1. DQM OnlineMario Martinez CDF SPL Meeting, June 28th 2005

  2. O. Norniella, C. Sanchez DQM Online • We have automated the C0 checking list • Expert “subroutine” implemented inside Consumers (YMon, LumMon, BeamMon) to check histograms on the flight • Produces a .txt file that is read by DQMon monitor and displays possible alarms • Updates need to be recompiled in agreement with Consumer Librarian -> painful procedure… • We can also ready .txt output from other consumers…if they agree on format…TrigMon..etc.. Consumer Framework has a limitation…. histograms accumulate statistics.. are blind after a while… we should reset histograms every x-time

  3. O. Norniella, C. Sanchez DQMon Display Able to produce alarms (like TeVMon does) and behind each button identify the histogram producing alarms/warning We can implement a mask of histograms…this is easy…. Carlos Sanchez (PostDoc) is coming on July to work on this….

  4. DQMon Plans • We need a special meeting with SPL’s to decide what should be displayed in the monitor (for example, to monitor new single dead channels is necessary ?…hard to maintain synchronized with detector SPLs)  I propose to do it next week…or I will visit each SPL personally..( I am in Boston now talking about Jets …sorry) • It couples with changes in CO procedures…we will have to be informed of any change… • A new student from IFAE will come to work on this in a couple of weeks….my desire is to put it to run at B0 asap (it is 95% in shape to go now…) He will create the necessary critical mass to run this part of the DQM project..
