Mandibular movements is influenced by (TMJ, muscles and ligaments) Tempromandibular joint (TMJ) is a joint of articulation of the condylar process of the mandible with the mandibular fossa (glenoid fossa) of the temporal bone. It is a complex joint because it covered with dense fibrous connectivetissue (articular disk or capsule) instead of hyaline cartilage and it is a synovial joint which secretes a synovial fluid
