  3. What will we be doing? A 17 mile walk around the perimeter of Rutland Water

  4. How much can we raise? • Our expected target is £1500 based on 100 people raising an average of £10 each in sponsorship. • Our aspirational target would be £5000 based on 200 people raising an average of £25 each in sponsorship. Who knows what might be possible?

  5. What will you gain by doing it? • A great day out! • A real sense of helping to make other people’s lives better • Achieving a personal goal • Improved levels of fitness

  6. Training! Mr Rowan You have to be able to walk the distance. As the weather improves, there will be regular training walks at lunchtime and out of school. Suitable footwear is a must! The most important ingredient is commitment!!

  7. Arrangements Coaches will leave Mount Grace early Sunday morning. • 9.00am – walk begins. • 12.00 noon approx. – lunch • 3.00 pm – walk ends and parents, family and friends arrive for the picnic • 4.30 pm – return home (with parents or on the coach) Mr Thomas
