  2. ESWW 7 Organisation This meeting is being jointly organised by the Solar-Terrestrial Centre of Excellence (STCE), ESA, the SWWT and the COST ES0803 communities. The local organisation is done by the STCE.

  3. A Brief History • ESWW1 took place in 2004, building on the annual ESA applications workshop. • The advent of COST 724 led to the creation of the European Space Weather Week bringing together scientific and applications communities • Now a major annual event in the European Space Weather calendar bringing together scientific and applications communities • International awareness growing as seen by participants and sponsorship

  5. >200 registered participants from 35 countries working in diverse areas of space weather Includes 25 students/young engineers 56 oral presentations in 5 plenary sessions plus many more in 16 splinter meetings 89 Posters expected Posters will be available all week Main poster session 17th Nov 16:30 – 18:30 Space Weather Fair will take place at the same time Diverse stands allowing interactive demos and hands-on training This Year’s Event
