  2. Projects available • Developing Skills in integrating Word • Intermediate Word and Databases • Basic spreadsheets and charts • Developing skills in using Publisher • PowerPoint and peripherals • Memories on TV • Virtually Archibald – ICT in Visual Arts (Stage 3)

  3. Project format • 2 or 3 half-day workshops (3.30 – 6.30 pm) • Planning time (half or full day) • Participants work in groups to develop lessons/lesson plans that integrate ICT • 2 hr project evaluation meeting – term 4

  4. Project structure • Workshop 1 focuses on how to use the software • Workshop 2 focuses on how to integrate the software into teaching and learning programs • Planning day focuses on participants developing lesson plans on using the software • Project evaluation to guide future projects and project format/structure

  5. Project aims • To improve the ICT skills of teachers • To assist teachers in the integration of ICT into teaching and learning programs • To provide useful strategies and resources in the integration of ICT skills • To develop a bank of resources that can be shared with schools within and beyond Sydney Region

  6. Future plans and projects • Webquests – the what, why and how • Web logs (blogs) and their use • Resources on the Sydney region website ICT pages
