  3. If any girl is interested in serving on the executive board for Today's Girls Tomorrow's Women you must see Ms. Hudock in Room 209 for the requirements before the end of the day on Thursday

  4. There will be a brief MAPS meeting on Tuesday, Oct 8th directly after school in the study area. • We will discuss an upcoming service opportunity, our Challenge By Choice adventure, and our MAPS t-shirts. • There will be sign up opportunities so please be there and on time. 

  5. ALL JOA SCHOLARS MUST CHECK THEIR EMAIL DAILY FOR THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS!

  6. JOA Seniors – please meet with Mrs. Kasunic in her room (208) Monday morning at 7:45am.

  7. JOA Juniors – please meet with Mrs. Kasunic in her room (208) Tuesday morning at 7:45am.

  8. There will be an Italian Club meeting on Monday October 7th right after school in room 209.

College Visits – Week of September 30 Wednesday, October 2 Tuesday, October 1 Allegheny College Ohio Northern University Walsh University • Providence College • Ohio Wesleyan University • Ave Maria University Thursday, October 3 Georgetown University For more information, Please see Mrs. Just in the Guidance Office

  10. Future Business Leaders of America We will have a meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 2:45 pm In Room J202 If you can’t make the meeting, see Mrs. Maxwell

  11. ANY and ALL students interested in joining the step team or seeing what it's all about, please meet us for an INTEREST MEETING in the Aux Gym on Tuesday, October 8th, directly after school until approximately 3:30. • Tryout practices will be 3:15 - 5:00 on Wednesday, October 9th, Tuesday, October 15th, and Thursday, October 17th.   • Official Tryouts are 3:15 on Tuesday, October 22 in the Aux Gym.

  17. OC OC what's our yell?  • Calendars, calendars, sell, sell, sell!  • There is no turn in this week, but be sure to take advantage and double up your sales to turn in on October 9.  • We're almost at the goal of a day off from school! 

  18. The 47th Annual Duquesne University College Fair will be held at the A.J. Palumbo Center on Sunday, October 13th from 1PM to 3PM Over 150 colleges and universities will be in attendance.  This is a great way to meet with representatives from a variety of schools No registration is required.

  19. Submitto Forté • Are you an ARTIST? Are you a photographer, a poet, a doodler, an author, a dancer, a painter? • Then submit your art, whatever it may be, to FORTE, OC’s Art and Literary Magazine • Drop off submissions in Room 208 or send scanned or video submissions to oaklandcatholicforte@gmail.com • Our theme this year is PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE • Deadline for Submissions is November 15th
