Criteria • Number of Applications: 140 • Year 1 students are eligible • No preference on programme • No preference on gender • Selection based on English (IELTS/GCE1000/GCE1500/DSE English), CGPA, interview score and DSE Math • Subsidy ratio up to 60% but the amount will normally be less depending on the number of students attending. 3

Undertaking • Deposit: HK$5,000 or HK$8,000 by Mar 18, 2014 or earlier • Balance: HK$X,XXX by Apr 7, 2014 • 293-318028-006 (Hang Seng Bank) • All submitted fees are NON-REFUNDABLE • Paid back subsidy to CCCU: • Drop out after Apr 7, 2013 • Do not complete AD in CCCU • Pre-departure meetings and Reflection Report + Post-trip activities • Insurance is covered by CityU: http://www6.cityu.edu.hk/FO/studentlan/htm/Travel.htm (recommend to buy your own travel insurance as well) 7

Disciplinary Issues • Follow University/Hostel regulations • Report to accompanying lecturer via email/whatsApp for all absence cases with reason • Attempt all assessments (formal and informal) seriously • Non-compliance to these rules will lead to disciplinary actions including suspension of study, return of CCCU subsidy for the SAS program, black listed to be nominated for other scholarships or subsidies etc. • Must complete the 2nd year of study after return 8
