Accomplishments • AASHTO RAC Business • Conducted monthly Regional conference calls • Participated in Leadership calls • Hosting the 2012 Annual Meeting in the exceptional state of Vermont • High Regional and International Representation • Interactive Sessions • Two Sponsors • Nice weather most days • Maple Moose

Accomplishments • Program Improvement • New Bylaws Adopted in MD • NJ released a new profession Research brochure and promotional video • DC, NJ Increased research staff • Vtrans adopted a new cooperative agreement with UVM • NJ adopted a basic agreement with Lehigh University in Pennsylvania • DC has a larger library, two contract librarians • DC submitted more than 30 TRB committee nominations

Accomplishments • Leverage Resources & Collaboration • MD, PA, VT, CONN, NY, RI collaboratively conducted a multistate exchange to discuss Hurricane Irene Best Practices • MD, PA, VA, & WV working with Region 3 UTC using pooled funds • ME, VT, NH, conducted a Pavement Peer Exchange • NJ conducted a Combined TRB Field Visit, Peer Exchange & Annual Research Showcase • Re-initiated NETC • 6 New England states created a product evaluators group

  6. Goals & Activities • Request Region 4 host meeting in: • Hawaii, • Alaska • California • Increase the Number of HVR Submittals • Conduct Multistate Peer Exchanges • 100% participation on at least one task force • Increase participation in TRB and AASHTO committees/task forces

Goals & Activities • PA NJ DC: Update Research Policies/Procedures • Vtrans: Increase participation with UTCs • Streamlining research solicitation process • DC: Submit NCHRP problem statement • Request official replacement members for RAC from NYSDOT DELDOT • MD: Allison Hardt to wed • CONGRATULATIONS! • August 2012
