  1. Injections No 1 & 2 • 100 ml Ropivacaine 0.2% • 0.5mg adrenaline • + - Ketoralac 30 mg

  2. 1st 50 mls: posterior capsule, PCL, deep to collaterals and retractor sites (medial and lateral proximal tibial metaphysis)

  3. 2nd 50 mls: Along medial and lateral margins of incision through quads tendon and capsule, then, fat pad & suprapatellar synovium + margins of lateral release incision if performed

  4. Injection 3 & 4 • 100ml 0.2% ropivacaine • No adrenaline

  5. 3rdinjection Superficial infiltration50 to 100 mls 0.2% ropivacaine

  6. Infusion • Knee 100ml 1% Ropivacaine 0.5 mg adrenaline • Hip 100ml 0.2% Ropivacaine 10ml 1.0% Ropivacaine 0.5 mg adrenaline
