  2. Where They are Located • Emperor penguins are located in Antarctica in the Arctic. They live in the coldest climate on Earth. Temperature can drop as low as -140 degrees Fahrenheit.

  3. Characteristics Of a Emperor Penguin • A Emperor penguin weighs 80-90 lbs. • They stand over 3 ½ feet. • They are the longest lived of the penguins with a life span of up to 50 years. • Emperor penguins have yellow patches around their ears and at their throat and a long narrow bill.
