Building on the $50 billion Carrier Ethernet market driven by MEF, CEF supports various users including homes and enterprises. Key initiatives include the OpenCloud Project, designed to enhance visibility, automate service chaining, and foster cloud networking innovation. CEF advocates the adoption of its Reference Architecture to improve service delivery and operational efficiency across data centers and cloud networks.
