  2. A. About the Institute Introduction The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated on 18th Aug 2010 as a member of a group of ten new NITs. These new NITs were established as centres of excellence in technical education to combat the growing need of technological professionals in India as well as in the World. NIT Arunachal Pradesh is now offering following courses:

  6. A. Industry Steps in Institute • Not feasible for NIT, Arunachal Pradesh due to geographical disadvantage. • B. Institute steps in Industry • NIT, Arunachal Pradesh promises to do the interaction in an approach reportedly never seen before means and way. • The big ideas in operation in NIT, Arunachal Pradesh are I-course and compulsory industrial training for members of faculty. • One paper in each semester of all branches is marked as I-course meaning that at least 50% of the course content of the paper will be taught by an Industrial expert.

  8. Infrastructure (Contd.) Solar Power Plant The institute has planted a solar plant of capacity 100KW from which the institute is getting uninterrupted power supply. Due to this solar plant the college has minimized its electricity bill to come down to Rs 0. Installed capacity: 100 KW Cost of the project: 2.47 crore

The Switch Room of NITAP is facilitated with • Cyber Roam         CR 1000 ia • Cisco Router         2900 series • Layer 3  Switches   3750 G series • Layer 2 Switches     2960 G series The Campus Wireless Network allows laptop computers to connect to the campus network using wireless/radio frequency technology. The campus wireless network does not support cellular technologies, but does support some wired connections via docking ports. We support these Wi-Fi standards: 802.11g 802.11a 802.11n

  10. Infrastructure (Contd.) Server Room A well organised server room having IBM Blade Server is installed. IBM Blade Server comprises of Web Server, Mail Server and Proxy Server. Cheap Cooperative NIT, Arunachal Pradesh Co-operative is being set in the institute with great urge from the NIT , Arunachal Pradesh authority accompanied and supreme enthusiasm from the students.
