Comp@P1 Shifts and LHC • Large collisions have not occurred quite yet • Seem to have other issues than collisions • Possible collisions tonight but not high priority • Orbit, injection, collimation @ 4TeV and dump setup continues • Comp@P1 shift coverage ok • An issue with shifter missing a long delay of a collision (2012!!) file transfer • Worried about the shifts this weekend • None covered! • Have little hope • Issue with people backing out of shifts • The 45 day sanction is working at the moment Comp@P1 Readiness, Jae and Alexey

  2. AMOD Coverage Issue • Total number of available shifters:Of 24on the OTP list, including the four new AMODs • 14 responded with 1 – 6 week coverage • 3 went backup state • 3 retired • 4 did not respond • Need more to prepare for the future • Total needed in 2012 is 41 weeks, including this week • If all 14 above take shifts at their maximum possible, we can get by this year!! • Documentation for AMOD tasks and training being put together  Ale, Guido, Cedric, Stephane and many… Comp@P1 Readiness, Jae and Alexey
